About Me

I am Mark J Yhasin C. Bualoy, a Wikimedia volunteer from the Philippines. I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English from the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture – Calabanga (2024).

I joined Wikipedia as a new contributor who is interested in supporting open knowledge and community-driven information platforms. My current contributions focus on small but meaningful edits such as improving grammar and clarity of articles, adding reliable sources, and assisting in decoding and digitizing old texts.

I have participated in several Wikimedia community activities, including the Wikisource Loves Manuscripts Philippines (WILMA PH) Training of Trainers Program – Year 2 (2025), where we worked on digitizing scanned historical manuscripts written in Philippine languages. I also joined the Wiki-SheSaid Campaign 2026, which focused on documenting notable quotes from prominent Filipinas in celebration of women and their contributions to society.

As a developing contributor, I aim to continue learning from the Wikimedia community while helping improve the quality and accessibility of free knowledge online.

Messages, suggestions, and guidance from fellow editors are always welcome on my talk page.
